I love food, both cooking and eating it! I also love to travel. I have been fortunate enough to have spent the last 20 years traveling all over the world. One of my favorite ways of getting to know an area is to explore the food. A BBQ pit stop on the side of a Georgia highway or an eight-course meal in the French Alps, a cooking class in Morocco or a salmon bake in Alaska, for me food makes a place and its people come alive.  My hope is that I can share my impressions of a place through the dining experiences I have there and then to bring those impressions home by recreating the dishes and/or flavors in the home kitchen to share with you.  So follow me on my journeys as I explore a place, try local restaurants and cuisines, then journey back to my kitchen.  There will be photos and food, wine and whimsy, all accompanied with laughter.
